Come on Coach wishes to inspire, motivate, inform, connect, and support coaches across the country with experiences, stories, tools, and building positive relationships. We want to help coaches grow and thrive through stories of triumph, adversity, challenge, and experience as well as provide assistance in a variety of avenues.

Being a coach whether it be at the middle school, high school, college, or professional sports level is one of the most rewarding jobs there is. It is also many times one of the most challenging. At Come On Coach, we have the vision to create a place where coaches of all sports and levels can come to read inspiring stories, find similar challenges to their own, share insight and advice, and provide support and skills to navigate the coaching profession.

Developing transformational coaches using experiences over the years in the coaching profession is our hope as we share and collaborate. We all need mentors as well as peers to guide us and assist us as we work through challenging situations and as we mature in the profession. It is tough at times dealing with difficult students, athletes, parents, administration, fellow coaches, or sometimes our own families. A great coaches wife/husband who supports and understands our commitment to serving young people through the coaching profession is extremely important. It is also important to understand how to balance and manage our work and personal life. Being a professional coach does not equate to rarely seeing or spending time with your family.

I personally have over 20 years at the high school level coaching football, baseball, basketball, track, powerlifting, softball, golf, and tennis. I have been an athletic director, campus coordinator, head football, head powerlifting, head softball, head golf, head tennis, and assistant on many levels at big and small schools all in the great state of Texas. From my own experiences as well as many great coaches’ experiences, it is our desire to build a network and community of coaches who come together to sharpen each other just as Proverbs 27:17 states,”…as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another…”
